So, it has been a couple of months since I posted my initial blog post that accompanied the creation of this account.  I will admit I am absolutely horrible about keeping up with my blogs, but I figured that since I use this portfolio as a reference for design jobs I probably should keep everything up to date.  So rather than actually expending any effort writing a blog post here, I will point out that I have been blogging on a monthly basis over at #FaithDesign so you should go over there and while you are there check out some of the excellent design work there.  Of course, if you got here from #FaithDesign then you are out of luck.  Check back regularly for a lack of updates.

So, this is day one on deviant art despite years of avoiding joining, here I am.  And I guess that I never had a very good reason not to join but after a while not joining became a habit and since I am heavily influenced by inertia each year I did not join it became easier to not join.  The real irony is that by the time I actually joined most of my coding skills had been forgotten and rendered irrelevant so I can no longer claim to be a web designer, but fortunately my skills with graphics have been in almost constant use so I am good there.  What do you think?  Is this enough for a journal entry for the first day?  I'd think so, and in this case it really is only my opinion that matters (although, it would be pretty freaky if the journal came alive and forced me to keep writing).  Oh, it is pretty cool that my mood can be "neutral" on here.
